• Question: Do you ever think about how vast the universe is and how so much is yet to be explored and if another solar system just like earths lies out there?

Yes. It is hard to imagine just how enormous the universe is. No matter how big you imagine it, the reality is even bigger!
So it seems almost certain there must be solar systems like ours out there. Some likely ones have already been detected.
But they are very far away from us. Even if we could travel close to the speed of light, it would take a lifetime to get to the closest ones.
Whether or not there is life on them is another question. We don’t know, and so far we have no evidence of any other intelligent beings like ourselves in the universe.

I do. The vastness of it is mind boggling really! I think there must be other forms of life out there too as well as simulator solar systems. I am a massive sci-fi fan and I really enjoy reading and watching space sci-fi in particular.

Great question! Working on space and astronomy often makes you think about how big the universe is. It’s mind bogglingly big – billions of stars in billions of galaxies! But I’d like to know more about what’s out there. So that’s what motivates me!
